White Chili With Ground Turkey(From Our October 2018 Newsletter - Grandma C.)Ingredients
Add turkey and cook until cooked through, no pink left. Add chicken broth, chickpeas, oregano, cumin and cilantro. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir to mix, bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer covered for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Dissolve cornstarch in water, uncover chili and stir in the cornstarch mixture, bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes more, stirring constantly. The chili will thicken slightly. Serve with Monterey Jack Cheese and scallions on top as a garnish. |
