Garlic Butter Steak And Potato Foil Packets(From Our May 2023 Newsletter - Grandma C.)Ingredients
Cut the steak into large chunky squares, about 2½ inches each. Place the steak, onion, Olive oil and all seasonings in the large bowl with the cooled potatoes. Toss to mix and coat. Tear off 4 pieces of aluminum foil, about 12x12 inches each. Evenly divide the steak and potato mixture in the middle of each foil. Place 2 cubes of butter on top. Fold the foil over the steak and potatoes and seal so that the packets won‘t leak. Cook packets on a hot grill for about 6-7 minutes per side, or you can bake them in a 425 degree oven on a cookie sheet for about 15 minutes. Use caution when opening the hot packets to serve. Hot steam will escape! Always serve on a plate. |
