Easy Extra Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar


• 1 egg


• 1/4 cup vegetable oil


• 3 tbsp water


• 1/2 cup cocoa powder


• 2 tsp vanilla extract


• 1/2 tsp baking powder


• 1/4 tsp salt


• 2/3 cup flour

1/2 cup baking chips, frozen, any flavor (chocolate, mint, butterscotch, white chocolate, peanut butter).
Mix all ingredients by hand just until blended.  Avoid overmixing!
Fold in frozen chocolate chips if desired.
Pour into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
You can tell they're done when you insert a toothpick in the center of the pan and it comes out clean.
I've found that the baking time for these brownies is almost perfect at 25 minutes.
*This recipe is small.  I prefer to double it for thicker brownies.  If you double the recipe, increase baking time to 35 min.
