Mix the bisquick, eggs, sugar, milk and pineapple juice together with spoon until semi-smooth. Batter may be a little bit lumpy, this is fine. Grease the bottom and sides of a 9" X 9" baking pan, preferably glass. Line the bottom with round pineapple slices. Place a sliced Maraschino Cherry in the middle of each slice. Pour batter over pineapple slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. (Use the toothpick method to test the batter.) If it comes out clean, cake is done! Wait 5 minutes for cake to cool just slightly, then turn onto a serving plate. Serve cool with whipped cream or warm with vanilla ice cream. Blatantly labeled as “Bath Salts- Not For Human Consumption,” this drug can be found on the shelves of many mini marts and smoke shops around the country. Answer me this, have you ever gone to a smoke shop to purchase bath products? Probably not, so why are they called “bath salts”? The answer is simple. By labeling them as a bath product and marking it as dangerous for human consumption, they are able to market and sell the product legally. This drug is killing people and you can walk in and buy it off of a shelf for as little as $10 There is hope, however. Although it can still be purchased legally, several states have already taken action by banning the drug from the shelves. Unfortunately, it will take a federal law to outlaw the drug completely in the United States, which is something those who have been affected by this are praying for. Meanwhile, all we can do is spread awareness and make sure people know that just because you can buy it at the store, that does NOT MEAN IT IS SAFE! Insurance Insight: - Twelve questions to ask your health coverage Part 4 of 6When was the last time you really looked at your health insurance policy? People usually look at their policy when they purchase it - or after they submit a claim and find the insurance company doesn't pay what they thought it would.Adequate health insurance is an absolute necessity to protect your health, your home, your business and your hard-earned assets. Since over half of all bankruptcies and mortgage foreclosures are due in part to the medical bills resulting from catastrophic illness or injury, it is worth your time to review your present health coverage. How does your policy rate? There are 12 points to consider when reviewing your insurance policy. This month we will address points 7 and 8 and will continue to address 2 points a month for the next 2 months. 7. Does your plan include a regular prescription card or a "discount card"? Several carriers provide prescription coverage as an option, others as a standard feature. A discount card, which provides a small amount of savings on major prescriptions, is offered by some indemnity plans, MSA and association plans. 8. Are you covered outside your immediate area? Does your policy specify a "coverage area" in which you must seek treatment? Some plans limit, reduce - even eliminate - benefits if used outside a particular jurisdiction, such as your county or state. Others offer reduced co-pay benefits if using a non-PPO provider; there is nothing wrong with this - it is pretty standard - but your agent should inform you of any plan modifications. Just make sure you are covered for emergencies no matter where you are! |
