◄ Back to What´s New At Savon - Monthly Newsletter Home Page Quote of the month: "There cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full." Henry A. Kissinger Congratulations to C. It‘s important to discuss bleaching with your dentist prior to starting any kind of bleaching treatment. Ask your dentist to record your starting pre-bleached shade. That way you can check in throughout your bleaching treatment and they can visually show you your results. Make sure to ask your dentist what kind of bleaching candidate you are and if he recommends an in-office, at home or over the counter treatment for you. Once that is determined, make sure you follow through with your treatment for the recommended time period and follow all instructions closely. This will help ensure that you get the best results possible. If you have a particular topic that you would like Dawn to discuss, please drop her an email by clicking here.
A perfect place to put a small plant (I prefer fake in this area unless you have a window) is in the bathroom on the back of the toilet. This will keep your energy lifted and from flushing down the toilet. Many Asian cultures believe in the Chinese Money Tree. Most of the leaves have 5 leaves on them and they trunks are braided. These are great to put in the front windows of your house. They are great for money and some cultures believe they help generate luck as well. Bamboo is another great plant and very easy to take care of. They need little light and can be in a vase without soil. These are great to have around the house anywhere you see fit to put them. Bamboo has been known to also help when it comes to health. If you put them next to your bed (the only time you really want a plant close to where you are sleeping), Asian cultures believe that it will take the negative energy that is making you sick and it will absorb it. In Feng Shui, it is believed that depending upon where a dying plant is in your house it dying because it is absorbing all the negative energy out of that area. Once they are completely dead, it is recommended to throw the plant in the trash immediately. It is very bad Feng Shui to keep a dead plant in the house. If anyone were to come to my house, they would probably think I have a nursery in areas of my house. I just find plants add so much life to a house while keeping the energy moving. Do not get me wrong, you do not want to clutter your house with plants, but its nice to have a few in almost every room of the house. It creates life and wonderful energy movement. Remember are not in this alone and can contact me with questions or concerns on Feng Shui at any time. Shona Frasier (602)793-3986 or via email at shona.fengshui@yahoo.com. FDA Declares Mercury In Dental Fillings Not HarmfulJuly 28, 2009 the FDA declared that silver dental fillings contain such minimal amounts of mercury that they are not harmful. They state that the levels of mercury detected in bodies of individuals who have amalgam fillings too low to cause and adverse health effects. They further state that only people with sensitivity to mercury or an allergy should refrain from having them placed. As for the millions of adults and children who currently have amalgam fillings, no need to rush out and have them replaced. The FDA states, “If your fillings are in good condition and there is no decay beneath the filling, FDA does not recommend that you have your amalgam fillings removed or replaced. Removing sound amalgam fillings results in unnecessary loss of healthy tooth structure, and exposes you to additional mercury vapor released during the removal process.” A question from a member: News You Can Use: News From Inside Your Dental Plan Refer a Friend; Get Your Membership For Free?Savon‘s referral program is in full force!
