Cheesy Gratin Potatoes(From Our January 2016 Newsletter - Grandma C.)Ingredients
Add dried parsley and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Mixture will thicken after about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and add the cheese blend. Stir to mix. Add salt and pepper. Once cheese is melted, fold in potatoes and scallions. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake covered for one hour. Uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. *Oven temperatures vary! Be sure to test potatoes with a fork to make sure they are tender before you remove them from the oven. Recipe will serve 6. |
