| MetastasisMetastasis means the transmission of disease causing organisms. Almost any health damaging organism that can invade the body can go through the process of metastasis. An example of this is when your 'sore throat' starts to 'settle' in your lungs. What has happened is that the bacteria and/or virus has gone through the process of metastasis and now the bacteria and/or virus is in your lung tissue. |
