A Complete Glossary of Dental Definitions
RadiographsRadiograph is the medical term for x-rays.
Radiographs are used in the health care field to help the doctor make a diagnostic evaluation of the parts of the body that are not readily available to visual inspection. There are many types of radiographs used in the health care field today. Some of the newer radiographs aren’t x-rays at all. With the advent of the computer, along with the scientific advancement and understanding of electromagnetic magnetism, science has come up with ways to get better images of the inside of the human body without the use of x-rays. |
