- - Another name for calculus.
- Tempromandibular Joint
- - The ‘TMJ’ is the functioning part of the oral dentition where the mandible (the lower jaw) hinges with the cranium (skull bone).
- Third Molar
- - The teeth just behind the second molars.
- Tipping
- - A tooth movement in which the root of the tooth is tipped labially (lip) or lingually (tongue) to correct the angle of the crown of the tooth.
- Tissue
- - Tissue is a group of similar cells that function together
- Tooth decay
- - Tooth decay is the term used when bacteria has weakened the tooth
- Torque
- - The rotation of a tooth on the long axis moving the root of the tooth in a buccal or labial direction.

- - A plastic model of a typical mouth, showing the alignment of teeth. A typodont is used to teaching orthodontic procedures.
